如何踢一場「必敗」的球賽

五年未嘗作客銳步球場得勝，本屆球隊正值低潮，過去五場聯賽只得四和一負，本場開賽初段雖踢得虎虎有威，後防卻因信心不足而脆弱不堪，敵方首度攻門已得分，及後戴亞比更因魯莽攔截而被罰離場。十人應戰下，幾次攻門無功而回後，不久便再失一球。

半場 0:2 落後兼少踢一人，大勢已去乎？

Gunnerblog 於半場休息時寫下的：

Arsenal, I’m pleading with you: restore some pride.

The title is gone. That’s the first time I’ve said it, but it’s sadly true. All the good work of the first part of the season has been undone by the worst run in the history of Arsene Wenger’s reign.
At the moment it stands at no wins in five. After today, it will surely be six.

......But with a two goal and one man deficit, a draw would now be a fantastic achievement.

I’m not demanding Arsenal go out there and perform miracles. But I’m asking that whatever happens, we try and restore some pride in this half.

結果是：
球員沒放棄，教練沒把主力換出、留力應付週中之歐聯大戰，反而換入更多攻擊球員，背城借一。相信沒一位阿仙奴球迷敢期望球隊於此環境下創造奇績。心是酸的，不敢再希祈太多，就只要挽回一點點尊嚴。卻原來，當你傾力以赴，硬打硬拚，局面是真可以一點一滴的扳轉過來！

先是加拿斯接應角球掃入，補回了之前失第一球的錯失。及後，漂亮的組織、不斷邊跑邊傳之努力得到回報，搏得對手犯規，雲佩斯十二碼一射而入把比分追平！最後三十分鐘裡，少踢一人之槍手把敵方完全壓制，補時階段再憑美妙之組織逼得對手擺烏龍，那是甜美的勝利、是雲加所說的：The Most Remarkable of All Comebacks。
